​Volthouse Electric is a local, family-owned business, founded by Cory and Victoria Shope. 

Cory Shope was born and raised in Manchaca, Texas and began working as an apprentice electrician in his early 20's.  He found that he had a passion for providing this real need to his community and truly takes pride in his work.

Cory holds a Master Electrician license and enjoys being able to raise the bar of electrical contractor expectations through this company. 

Volthouse Electric was started with the goal to provide our customers with the prompt, affordable, and quality electrical services that should be expected in this field but can be hard to come by. Victoria stays home with their three young children, all of whom are the driving force and encouragement behind the success of Volthouse.

Volthouse Electric is one of the few contractors in town that are partnered with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 520 Union. We are proud of such a partnership that provides us with skilled, licensed workers while also allowing us an avenue to provide our much appreciated employees with scaled wages, health insurance, pension, and annuity benefits
